Global HR Director at ITWORX
Nermine Fawzy is a senior HR leader with over 17 years’ experience. Nermine joined ITWORX as the Global Human Resources Director in April 2016. Prior to that, she was the HR Director for Middle East and Africa at Cargill, the largest privately owned company globally, where she has worked for 9 years. In her role, she led HR strategy and transformation, mergers & acquisitions, and HR activities for 9 countries, in addition to leading and participating in global projects and initiatives. Prior to that, she held a variety of positions in different industries, such as People and Culture Manager for Egypt and North Africa at TNS, a multinational company working in marketing research. Nermine is a certified coach, an active member in the Core HR Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of other HR associations, such as SHRM. She is also a volunteer Mentor and Advisory Board Member for a number of companies with Endeavor. A graduate of the American University in Cairo, Nermine was a Journalism & Mass Communication major and has a post-graduate degree in HR from the University of Northampton. Nermine grew up in Europe, Australia and the US where she developed an understanding and appreciation of having global mindset but mindful of local realities, and the role of culture in the workplace. She enjoys working on business strategy, talent management, mentoring, and coaching.
